Crayola Star Wars Review

This tracing pad is fantastic! Not only do you get colored pencils, golf markers, 3 Star Wars transparencies, and a bunch of pages with Star Wars imagery for tracing- you get a working light table for a lot less money than a professional one! I have a professional light table and I am very impressed with the brightness of this table. I tried different thickness of paper for tracing and different thicknesses and darknesses of images to be traced. So far it has all worked! Of course, the darker the image the harder it is to see and trace, but that is expected.

The images to trace are great. From characters (human one and non human), to ships, to symbols, and just cool designs.

This is hours of fun for any artist who is a star wars fan.

Happy to say you can reuse the transparencies too. With a damp cloth they can be cleaned off.

My only problem is with the transparencies. The board has little dots all over it. When you use the transparencies as they are meant to be used the dots show through and "mess up" the image. I am not sure why the dots are on the table, but I am guessing it helps with the brightness in some way. Putting a piece of paper between the transparency and the light helps, but ruins the effect.

This is also very thin and lightweight. Great for travel.

We typically use all the Crayola products and are generally very pleased with them. This product is no different provided you understand it is best for younger kids.

With this product you get three color wonder markers and three stamp pads, plus a book of blank Color Wonder paper. Like the other Wonder products, you do not need to worry about staining carpets or walls as the products only work on the Wonder paper. Like another reviewer noted, children over 6 will lose interest quickly compared to those younger than six. The product does not need batteries to operate but the younger kids seem to like when it lights up (batteries are not provided). Overall a very simple toy with limited application in that you stamp the Wonder paper with the stamps and then color in the stamps with a Wonder marker.
